Roman...a beautiful colt!!!

Hello All!
Last night we had our annual school party and Daddy and Momma surprised us by buying a massive tent and cowboy cookin'! We enjoyed a wonderful night as a family sleeping on the not so soft ground of the tent. :) (Daddy, Momma and everybody but Tina, the baby and I went for a ride to the creek earlier in the evening. Jake took Jasmine and she did great, though a little slow...we now know why!) When we woke up the next morning...We found this! We knew that my horse, Jasmine, was pregnant, but we had no idea she was so far along! It's a little boy/colt and I named him Roman. He is the sweetest little guy and is healthy as can be. Jasmine is doing great and it's so sweet watching her protect her baby, though she has no problem letting us love up on him. I am really looking forward to raising and training him for the barrels.
We are getting Jasmine fattened up like we did Marshmallow after she had her filly. Jasmine was a rescue horse and pregnant when we got her and we found it much easier to fatten them up after they have their babies. I am sure she will enjoy the extra scoop of feed that is the privilege of every nursing horse. :)

Here are a couple pictures of him just a few hours old. :)
Christ be with you all!
For His glory alone,

Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow

The entire Pendleton household is very grateful to God that a car accident that could have resulted in major injuries was only a couple of headaches and body aches. Anna and I were running our usual Thursday errands in Dothan in Dad's silver Passat. Traffic was moving about 40 mph... or so we thought. The driver of the truck you see below was driving under the influence and, though traffic was stopped in front of him, used no brake lights or turn signal and suddenly swerved into the left lane and nearly flipped over. We, being unaware that traffic in front of him had stopped, were still going about 38 mph, and as soon as the truck had swerved we rammed right into the back of the white car. We later found out that when the truck swerved in front of us, he hit the rear of the white car which sent it sailing into the car in front of it which deployed the white car's airbags. The driver of the white car went to the hospital out of precaution for her neck and arm. From what we know she is fine, though, praise God! It was a four car wreck and everyone that was involved was very sweet, calm, and patient with each other. Anna and my necks are hurting notably and our whole bodies are aching from bearing down during the impact, but that is pretty much it. Thank you God for protecting everyone!
Emily for All
P.S. Here is news report done on the wreck yesterday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Noah Sanders!

We were very happy to be able to attend Noah and Dorothy Sander's wedding! It was held last Saturday at the home of Dorothy's family, the Mortons. It was a beautiful reminder of Christ and His bride, the Church. Em and I were helping with the wedding, so we were unable to get a whole lot of pictures, but Emily got a few. :)
God bless you always!

In Christ and for His glory alone,

Mr. Sanders escorts Noah to claim his bride

The flower girls were so cute! There were about a dozen of them. :)

It was so precious watching Mr. Micheal lead Dorothy to give her to her groom.

Mr. Micheal stood between the couple and announced publicly that he willingly gave the bride away.

Exchanging the vows

Praying a blessing over the bride and groom

Their first public kiss! Their actual first kiss was behind a parasol a little off to the side of everybody. It was so sweet!

And the wedding party heads off!

The cake was lovely!

Throwing the bouquet. :)

This was the first day that Jakie-Bug started grabbing us to give us hugs! We have each enjoyed about three thousand already. :)

On the way home

Sisters... :)

May God richly bless the new Sanders family as they model their lives after Christ and His Church!

The Cat and the House!

As Promised, here are a couple pictures of Naomi's kitten and the house. While I was looking through the pictures of the house before we did anything to it I couldn't believe how different it looks!
God bless you always.

Naomi's Watermelon and other things

As always, we have been busy around here! We have been enjoying the horses and keeping the farm going. :) One of the four youngest kids' projects this year was a little garden of their own. A couple of days ago we were very excited to see this good sized watermelon in Naomi's! :) She was very proud of it, and we all enjoyed it very much. We have a new addition to our farm...Naomi's kitten, Crockett. (We found him near an uninhabited cabin.) I will try to get a pic or two of him up soon.
Until then, Christ be will you all!
In Christ and for His glory alone,
Anna, for us all
Naomi with her watermelon

That piece is as big as she is!!!!

Our Crape-Myrtles are blooming and looking so pretty!

Momma has been making cheese galore! We have so enjoyed the homemade cheddar! She made the best batch yet the other day and there is hardly a day when we do not have a giant pot of milk sitting on the stove and/or the melted wax ready for the cheese to be dipped. Above is a cheese wheel with the first layer of wax on it. It is such a blessing to have a mother who loves making good food and loves to teach us girls how! :)

Lydia is working on getting her muffin "badge" for Keepers of the Faith and we have enjoyed some wonderful muffins.

Daddy painted the front of the house!!! :) It looks so good and I will try to get a pic of that up very soon. :) It's wonderful to have the house looking closer and closer to done. :)

I don't know if you can see, but it is raining here (Click on the picture to make it bigger). It was raining while perfectly sunny and I thought it was so lovely. There were thousands of little prisms falling and catching the sun making it look like thousands of tiny rainbows.

You can see the rain better here.

And for the last picture of the evening, Naomi and her stallion, Tex. I love this picture...though you can't really see Tex, you can see how cute Naomi looks while on him. :)
That's all for now.
God bless you always!!!
