Sticky Fun!
We are really enjoying our homegrown honey! Today we harvested it and so far (it is still straining) we have about 3 gallons!
Here are a couple pictures.

Jugde Roy Moore
We had the pleasure of being able to see and listen to Judge Roy Moore. He happened to be in Dothan, so Daddy took Em and Me to listen to him. It was such a huge blessing to hear a man inner locking the Bible and politics! It is so rare to find these days. Any-hoo, we had a great time and here are a couple of pictures.
Hope y'all have a blessed day and week!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!!!!
We have been blessed with the most wonderful, loving and caring father! Daddy just celebrated his birthday on the 16 of June. He had a wonderful day. We went out to Golden Corral. (the golden pig trough as we call it :P) And then we came home and had a party! He opened all his gifts from the kids, and we all got up and started to go back to the school room for family worship when mom said..."Oh my! Blaine, would you put the table away please?" Well, that was one REALLY nice table! When Mom said table, she forgot to add saw on the end! Daddy is now the proud owner of a "Heavy Duty Job site Dewalt table saw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Any hoo, we all had a wonderful day and we rejoice and praise God for giving us our AMAZING daddy!
The work he has put into our homestead, the love he has put into our family and above all, the honor and glory he gives to the Lord are just a few of the amazing qualities that our father has.
Thank you soooooo much Daddy, for all that you do! We love you!

Good Bye, Rosie
Yesterday, our dear milk cow Rosie died from calving complications. The calf came out (on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009) with 1 hoof showing and his other hoof stuck- it had to be pulled out so that she could make progress. Apparently, we waited too long to pull the hoof out because every contraction, she kept pushing the stuck hoof into her spine, thus giving her calving paralysis. Most cows recover, and we did our best to make sure she was one that did. But after doing all we were supposed to, she just couldn't make it. Through it all, though, God blessed us with a new little bull calf whom we named Chuck- Eye. We call him Chucky for short. :) We are very thankful that God allowed us to take care of her this past year and a half and for all of the times she made us laugh.
