It's Been a While!

Hey y'all!
Well, I suppose you could say it's been quite a while since I last blogged. It's not because we have not had anything to blog...we have been very busy!

Let me think...
Papa has been doing allot around the property. He is doing very well at work and is now the proud owner of a horse!!! Momma gave Gretchen to him after we got her another horse, a gelding. It is so sweet to watch him riding Gretchen and petting her. :) Daddy is a wonderful blessing to all of us! He is an amazing leader, mentor and husband. He has also saved us from a few snakes lately. :)

Momma has been busy preparing for the up coming school year. She has been doing a good bit of gardening and we had so much lettuce that we didn't know what to do with it! We are blessed with a mother who has quite a green thumb. She has been doing really, really well with her new horse, Rusty. She has gotten him into a trot and is working her way up. :) House work is always there to do and that is always a part of everyone's life. :) Momma is our best friend and as daddy has called her ever since they were married...she is his "li'l buddy." :)

Emily has been sewing some beautiful things... as always! She is also working on getting a business going from home. She has been going through a great sewing program for the technical side of her interest and is doing very, very well. She is always a blessing around the property and is ever ready to do yard work. :) She is a wonderful older sister to all of us.

I (Anna) have been busy with writing! I have been trying to work on my book and have been blessed with several writing jobs lately. My latest and most consuming project is my horse! I am hoping to start training her, and my self :), to barrel race. I have also been doing some work on the discussion board and mini magazine that I started. I am very grateful for the Lord's provision and guidance. I have also been enjoying guitar and voice lessons very much!

Micah has been doing allot of different things. He has been pursuing his filming etc. and he has been doing well in school. He loves his goat who recently had little boy kid. :) He has his own little garden. Micah is always running out of his rooms saying things like..."Look what I did with my green screen!" (If you want to know what that really is...ask Micah. :) He is such a sweet addition to our family and we are blessed to have him stand in the place of the man in the house when Daddy is at work.

Lydia had been doing some cross stitching and has proved to be gifted in that! She is loving her horse Jeb (Named for Jeb Stuart...all of us good ol' confederates know and love him!). She is the picture of horse girl!!!! It is sooo cute to watch her when she is loving up on her thousand pound gentle giant. She is our little Rapunzel and is always doing something beautiful in her long hair! We all love Lydia with her cheerful smile and her winning countenance.

Abigail has also been learning to cross stitch. She is currently working on a book mark. She seems to have a knack for writing and is always coming up with little stories. She also loves her horse! She is so cheerful and is always brightening up our day!

Naomi...well, what can I say? She is Naomi! ;) She loves to help and loves to talk! :) She is learning all about her little horse, Tex and will ride him whenever given the opportunity. She loves doing "girly" things with the "big girls". Today mom let her put a light coating of nail polish on (a rare and exciting occasion) and after doing so she stuck her hands out directly before her and went running through the house...when, with a look of bewilderment on my face, I asked her what she was doing she looked at me, smiled and gasped out..."I am drying my nails, Anna!" Then she continued to run leaving me crying with laughter! She always puts a smile on your face. :) We love her dearly. :)

I know there has been more happening and I will try to keep up with blogging. :)
Christ be with you all!
In Christ and for His glory alone,
Anna, for us all
