Here it comes!!!

Our dear little Jakie Bug has said his official first word! I spent the night at Jake and Tina's last night and when I got up in the morning and as I began getting Jakie ready for church we were "talking" together and I referred to my self as "Tante" (German for Aunt) and he looked up and said..."Tante!". We were all so excited! He has been saying it clear as crystal over and over!
We love our little guy so very much and are so grateful to have him for a grandson and nephew! Any one who has met him will tell you that he is one of the happiest sweetest babies you could ever meat! Jake and Tina shine through him in so many ways! We love our "Bugs" as we love to call them. :)
Ok! Sorry for the little "brag session"...kinda hard not to go on about my family!
Christ be with you all!

Round Pen!!!

Daddy and the kids made a round pen for horse training a few weeks ago! We are all very excited about it as it will make the training so much easier and safe! Here are a few pictures of the process. :) Oh, and Daddy and Momma made special trip to Lowe's (where else, right?) to get a great latch! :) Mom, Em and I were busy in the house getting things done and making food! :)

"So, you think we should get up?" "Naw, we are doing a pretty good job right here." :)

Measuring
(Don't you love the captions under pictures?! I just realized that most of them just point out the obvious. LOL! But! I guess that is what I do as a blond. ;)

The real reason a ladder was made!!!

The cutie pie (again...obvious!)

Nothing runs like a Deere!

I love this one!

Look! The girls are up. :) They really were a great help handing daddy the screws and such. :)

And there it is! Doesn't it look so "Horse Ranchy?"

There's that great latch. :)

Thanks to Daddy and his little crew for making the pen! It has already been used and I know that it will be continually used for years and years!

Psalm 19:1

We are very blessed to have a beautiful view from our property into our neighbors! I went out there at sunrise and got these pictures.

A visit from Maggie

SO! What do you do when you walk to the front door and are confronted with this?! Well, I am still not sure as, even on our sometimes crazy farm, this was a first for all of us! Yep! Momma's most beloved milk cow, Maggie, was out grazing and, I guess, decided that she wanted to pop in a say "Hay!" (Forgive my overly corniness.) We all thought it was hilarious so we had a photo shoot of our guest.
Hope y'all enjoyed this little laugh with us!

"Who is it?"

Look at those eyes! She just stood there for the longest time looking in! Yeah...kinda distracting.

Yes! We all love Maggie. Each in our own weird way. :)
Until next time!

Tea Time!

One of the many blissful things that take place when you are a little girl is being able to take any food, put a pretty dress on, add a little British accent and call it a tea party!
This was demonstrated in a most elegant way the other day when my two little ladies ran to me and said (with big eyes and puckered lips), "Anna! Will you make us a tea party?!" So...I went into the cabinet found some peanut butter, bananas and hamburger buns. After making some PBB's and a little fruit salad I called the girls from their "dressing room" and they ate and drank in a very "tea like fashion." :) This happens almost once a month, but I got some pictures this time so I wanted share them.

Their "tea" was sprite. :) We usually don't have it around, but it worked out perfectly this time!

Abby helping Naomi to a seat.

Aren't they precious! I am so grateful to have these two little girls for little sisters!

I'm going 36 miles so I can learn how to read!

Naomi has gone all the way around the Race Track once! Anyone who has done Sing, Spell, Read and Write will know what that means. :) This means that she has mastered the alphabet and can go on to reading and writing!!! We had a little party for her and she picked out all the toppings for ice cream sundays after she "ceremonially" placed her race car on the last space. We are all so proud of her (and Momma :) There was allot of hard work and it is so exciting every time this happens! I think that almost all of us have done this and it is so fun to watch it happen to one after another. :)
Sorry that some of the pictures are blurry.

Yay Naomi!!!!!

Momma got her a coloring book calender and some hair stuff.

Can you guess what is in his mind? Here's a hint "Thanks for that hard work Auntie Naomi!!! Now I can eat ICE CREAM!"

And there she is!!! All that hard work was worth it when she held that huge bowl of ice cream in her hand. I have always said that Momma has given us kids one of the BEST gift anyone could EVER give...Reading and Writing! Thank you Momma for all your hard work and perseverance! :)
Until next time. :)

Grandma and Grandson!!!!

The other day Momma was holding Jakie and I got a few pictures...I just had to share them!
Christ be with you!
For His glory alone,
Anna for the Pendletons I think he looks like Daddy (my daddy) in this picture!

Until next time! :)
